Smoke Detectors

Smoke detectors are disc-like devices mounted on the ceiling in every area of a home or structure. These devices are fire safety detectors which emits or sound an alarm that warns people of the risk to their safety. Smoke detection is made by ionization process, where in the smoke is processed and read. The smoke detector distinguishes the potency of content (each gas reads differently) and the amount being filtered. Every smoke detector has 'bells and alarms' in its system that it can read a saturation of fumes which will automatically have the smoke detector sound off the alarm.

A home or structure with several smoke detectors have installed units that 'trip' when one smoke detector is activated all units will blare an alarm. There is only one kind of gas that a regular smoke alarm can't detect, that would be the carbon monoxide (CO). It is common for any place to have both e the smoke detector and CO2 detector installed with their fire safety system.
