Wall Fixing Bracket
Having your fire extinguisher in a visible and accessible place is part of building or structure safety. Attaching fire extinguisher units to the wall at eye level needs a sturdy wall fixing bracket. These are 'j' shaped brackets which are fastened to the wall by 2 rivets or screws. This bracket is shaped to support a fire extinguisher while providing a stable for the metal ring that will hold it down to place. There are different wall fixing bracket sizes, all designed to hold a fire extinguishers full weight.
A wall fixing bracket can be of alloy or regular steel, as long as it can support the fire extinguisher weight it was designed for. A wall fixing bracket's main purpose is to hold a fire extinguisher at a certain height for it to be seen constantly.
Wall fixing brackets permanently places the fire extinguishers in its designated place, as opposed to fire extinguisher stands or holders. Moving the wall fixing brackets several times would leave hard to hide holes on the wall. Just keep in mind that brackets are permanent fire extinguisher installation devices.
